With rain hitting the Central Coast on Wednesday, many residents headed to hardware stores for supplies.
Farm Supply Company in Santa Maria has been seeing a lot of foot traffic during these past few days. With many people still having to work outdoors, they say they want to stay dry. Since we work for the school district, I am one of the drivers to deliver the stuff for the schools, we need the equipment to keep ourselves dry and make sure we do our job right,â Jose Mejia said.

Northern San Luis Obispo was hit hard by the storm Wednesday with some parts of the county seeing damage from the high winds. Fallen trees, disrupted roadways, and scattered debris were also issues.
A telephone pole went down on the corner of 14th Street and Park in Paso Robles, with crews responding Wednesday morning.
Some community members say they have experienced property damage of their own due to strong winds.
Paso Robles resident Wendy Tuttle says the roof of her shed blew off in the middle of the night.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â Signage along the back fence of FSU High school now in need of serious repair after storms sent the sheet metal to the ground.
FSU High was not alone in taking a hit from those storms.
Just across the street at John Paul II Catholic School, students helped re-secure banners that had been blown off of their baseball dugout, some wading through light flooding as they made their way across campus.
Jan 27, 2021 The National Weather Service confirmed that an official tornado touched down shortly after 11:42 a.m. local time before heading east. Over 500 power outages where reported. A twin engine aircraft flipped over at the Tallahassee Airport and there was damage done to some of the private hangers. The Tallahassee International Airport was also temporarily closed for damage assessment, and no injuries were reported.
